“ Ohata, a sushi restaurant in Kitashinchi, is so popular it's extremely difficult to get a reservation. The restaurant has a dignified atmosphere, like a true hideaway for adults. Sitting at the counter, I enjoyed the luxurious experience of watching the chef prepare sushi right before my eyes. The first thing that surprised me was the high quality of the ingredients. They use the finest ingredients, such as tuna, Spanish mackerel, and gizzard shad, that you won't find at ordinary sushi restaurants. The melt-in-your-mouth texture and rich flavor that spread the moment you put it in your mouth are truly a moment of bliss. Another thing worth mentioning is their attention to detail in the rice. They use as many as three different types of rice depending on the ingredient. By selecting the optimal rice for each ingredient, they maximize the flavor of the ingredients. It was my first time experiencing something like this, and I was impressed. The harmony between the chef's expert technique, carefully selected premium ingredients, and carefully selected rice is truly a work of art. Every piece was so delicious it took my breath away. It's no wonder it's difficult to get a reservation - this is a truly authentic sushi restaurant. ”

“ Sushi Ohata, located in Kitashinchi Everything from the atmosphere to the customer experience is truly a place for regulars. I want to be a regular too... The cost-effectiveness is like, "The owner is crazy." Eating this much tuna and drinking alcohol for 32,000 yen. I'll go again... ”

“ When asked what makes me happy, I answer when I'm eating Chef Ohata's nigiri sushi—it's my absolute favorite! ⭐︎ What's so good about this place? While some people agree, I want you to try it first... (Of course, it's difficult to get a reservation...) It's not the kind of sushi where the rice is small and covers the toppings, which is a recent trend, It's not overly elaborate (though there are certainly many small details). Once you put it in your mouth, you'll understand, what a happy feeling it is. You'll forget the words "delicious" and "tasty" and just grin from ear to ear! The chef's specialty is, without a doubt, his several types of rice! He uses different types of rice to match the toppings. This is an incredible technique...I'm impressed. And here's something I personally adore: "We're a sushi restaurant, so we get paid for sushi, so we don't need to worry about alcohol!" He served rare sake for 800 yen per cup in Kitashinchi (isn't that over 1 cup? lol) Restaurants compete silently with their food! It's so cool... Phew, I can't get enough. I wonder when my next visit will be... I'm so excited I'm shaking! Thank you for the meal. Thank you, chef, as always ”

“ This is the best sushi in Osaka! New reservations are not accepted, so a friend invited me here. Everything was perfect. Thank you for the meal. ”

“ The master of pairing shari with neta. On my visit 4 different types of rice were used! Sushi is pretty large and strong flavored. Definitely will be returning here! I was informed that the restaurant is now introduction-only. Tourists can visit Ohata-san's apprentice shop which is on another floor of the same building. ”
